With its automatic pan-and-tilt, the production of cylindrical and spherical 180°x360° panoramas in a high-resolution multirow-procedure transforms into a productive routine followed by top-quality results.

Practically every digital camera (e.g. Mamya, Canon EOS series, Nikon D series, Kodak, Konica Minolta, Sigma etc.) becomes a panorama machine in connection with the RODEON VR Head.

The RODEON VR Head scans the selected panoramic motive fast and precise by moving the camera in its Nodal-point to the vertical and horizontal direction.

The vicinity is scanned fully automated by precicely triggering the camera. No longer adjustment of single steps. No artifacts resulting from line-scanning.

The movement is free configurable and remote controlled via a user-software, which is running on a handy PDA or a Notebook-PC. The RODEON VR Head is connected to the user-software over the modern Bluetooth-standard.

For special applications the corresponding scripts are free programmable. Every individual settings can be saved and loaded as profiles whenever needed.

Our AutoStitcher-software recognizes the managed movement and automates the working process by using REALVIZ stitcher or REALVIZ ST-Batch. Regardless of this you can work with every other stitching software.

RODEON VR Head is based on the common construction system RODEON modular. Due to its consistent mechanical and electronic modular design your investment is protected. All modules can be easily assembled and varied. Further applications can be realised with add-on kits without high expenditure (e.g. turntable for taking photos from objects).
